After working on an abstract solution (geometric forms and lights that interact to the loop) I tried to capture the atmosphere of "Jazzalude" a bit more.
When I hear that sound, I'm in a bar, a nice clean one with a lot of colorful, warm and heavy lights. People are drinking cocktails or champagne, dance and have a splendid night.
So, back to the sketchbook...

Then I started modeling glasses and bottles

after that, I needed a couple of bodyshots, get a vector outline, place them in scene an voilá...
up next: more dancing people, the camera needs tuning, the surroundings.
lots of work ahead, and the reverse gear just won't work.
